ZaneLuxe Warranty

ZaneLuxe warranties (ZL Warranty) are now automatically registered when you purchase a watch. zaneluxe.com will service every brand name watch sold on our website for a period of 1 to 10 years after purchase. 

What's Covered:

The warranty applies to the following:

• Manufacturing defects
• Watch movement

What's Not Covered:

(a) batteries, straps, link bracelets or glass, 

(b) routine maintenance and cleaning

(c) any damage to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet/band, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch

(d) damage of any kind if there is evidence that:

• External wear-and-tear from normal daily use.
• External damage to the product. Any damages resulting from wear to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch
• Defects caused by outside force, improper use, or ANY such incidental damages which occur by dropping or banging the timepiece.
• Any lost/missing stones or gems on the outer portion of the watch or watch face
• Outside modifications and third party repair attempts void the warranty
• Any damage if used under conditions which exceed the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines.
• Any damage which occurs due to having the watch serviced by a third party, nulls and voids the warranty from zaneluxe.com
• Watches that are labeled as water resistant featuring a screw down crown. The crown must be screwed down properly at all times to keep the watch casing from receiving water damage inside the stem. Water damage is not covered under warranty by zaneluxe.com nor any manufacturer.
• Other consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty or any implied warranties.

The ZL Warranty shall become void if the serial number engraved on the watch’s case is missing or has been erased, altered, falsified, replaced, defaced, or made illegible.

The Fine Print:

zaneluxe.com will repair or replace the product at our discretion, including the cost of all parts and labor during the warranty period.

Except as provided in this ZL Warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, ZaneLuxe is not responsible for any direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to loss of use; loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill. Subject to the applicable laws and regulations, the maximum liability of ZaneLuxe for breaching any written or implied warranty with respect to the ZL watch shall not exceed the retail purchase value of the ZL watch.

IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM UNDER THE ZL WARRANTY

If during the Warranty Period you submit a claim falls under this ZL Warranty, ZaneLuxe will, at its discretion: 

(a) repair the ZL Watch using new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability; or 

(b) replace the ZL Watch with the same model (or with your consent a product that has similar functionality) formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. 

Please note that you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs in any case, including scenarios where the product is covered under the ZL Warranty. If the warranty claim is deemed inapplicable, void, or rejected, ZaneLuxe will inform you, and you may then choose to proceed with the repair or replacement, or have your watch returned. Should you choose to proceed, you will be responsible for all associated costs, including parts, labor, besides shipping and handling fees.
